Suicide Care in Texas

In this session, participants will learn about risk factors, warning sings and protective factors of suicide. Additionally, Individuals will learn about evidence-based tools for suicide prevention, intervention and postvention. 

Learning Objectives: 

1. List at least one risk factor and warning sign of suicide. 

2. Explain the importance of suicide screening and safety planning with youth. 

3. Discuss at least one strategy of postvention.
